Jim Russell, Former KPMG Revenue Cycle Management Expert, Joins Panacea Healthcare Solutions TAMPA, FLORIDA - March 5, 2009 - Panacea Healthcare Solutions, LLC, based in Tampa, Florida announced today that Jim Russell has joined the firm to help respond to the increasing demand by hospitals and its business partners for the company's hospital accounts receivable management and revenue cycle management services. Jim has more than three decades of experience in all aspects of healthcare accounts receivable and revenue cycle management. CONTACT INFORMATION CMS Delays Permanent RAC Program The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced a delay in the national, permanent RAC implementation due to a protest filed by two vendors who were not selected as part of the permanent RAC program. The protests were filed with the GAO by vendors who were not selected as RACs. The progress of the protests can be tracked on the GAO website: http://www.gao.gov/decision/docket This does NOT mean that the program is being stopped or eliminated. All of your plans for preparing for the RAC program and its audits are still valid and necessary.
